Zander arrived with his brother Zed. This hound mix (maybe beagle and others) is a bundle of energy. He’s ready to run, play, and wrestle!
Approximately 9 months old and about 30 pounds as of July 2024, Zander has an unusual brindle coat with white socks and other white markings. He starts his leash walks with lots of energy but calms down about halfway through. He’ll learn quickly with consistent training.
If you’re looking for an active buddy to walk, run, or hike with, Zander’s your guy! This little powerhouse needs positive training to direct his puppy energies. He’s very friendly and loves attention from humans.
Zander has learned not to be so mouthy. He’d do best with adults ready to offer him regular training and teenagers who can work with him. (He may have a little too much energy for younger kids.) He’s going to make a great family companion once he becomes secure in a forever home and learns the ropes! A fenced-in yard would be great.
Zander is up to date on vaccines and already neutered.
