It is hard work being this cute! Zambezi has a face we just want to smoosh. He has so much hope in his eyes whenever we pass his kennel it is hard to not take him out. Zambezi is young but not overly energetic. He would rather stick close to us than chase around toys. He doesn't really understand commands yet but he loves treats. Zambezi is young and such a softie. We want to protect him from all of life's sadness, but that is hard to do in a shelter setting. Help us get Zambezi the heck out of here.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
