FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED: Buffalo area: Where are all of our Great Dane lovers? Zach is completing his second week of board and train and is described at 96% Doofy Marmaduke and 4% poorly raised and untrained giant. He has been working hard to unlearn his bad habits as well as the meaning of boundaries. During his time at board and train it has been confirmed that Zach has some hearing impairment. This is being addressed by helping him start to learn hand commands. Zach needs a home without children. He’s a big boy that is still learning his size and strength. He needs lots of space where his zoomies are welcomed as well as safe. You have heard the phrase a bull in a china shop!? He needs space. Zach should be the only pet at this time because along with his low hearing he also has some mild visual impairment. More to come about this as he wraps up his last week of board and train. Zach would really love someone that is active and eager to take him on adventures. This person should also be strong! Able to lift at least 50 pounds. With the use of the gentle leader and special collar, he is walking well on the leash. But he will need someone with strength. Lastly (and extremely important), foster/adopter must be willing and able to follow the detailed behavioral training plan established by the trainer. Board and train isn’t the end of training. It is the foundation to build upon. Meet and greet will be done with trainer.
