My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yoda is a high spirited boy, he has a ton of energy for his small size so he loves fun and games. He wants to be with his human as much as possible and even likes to share bed at night. Yoda is in a foster home with a group of dogs, he gets along with all, males and females from a Shih Tzu to a Basset Hound mix. Due to Yoda's energy level a fenced yard would be ideal but he could also do well with an active owner who likes walks. Yoda is vocal and has a tendency to bark indoors, we have been trying to work with him on this but have not been able to resolve the problem. Apartment living with an owner that has to leave him alone while going to work is not the right situation for Yoda, he needs company. Toddlers and small children are not a match for Yoda because he jumps and tends to nibble, he has not outgrown the puppy stage yet ! He never bites and has not shown any aggression so older respectful children would be fine. Yoda may be small but he has a huge appetite and he will not hesitate to steal food whenever he has the chance, even if that is out of your hands. Yoda is crate trained and for shorter periods, like shopping and errands, he does well in his crate, he is also fine with sleeping in his crate. Lights out after an active day and Yoda is sound asleep even if he prefers to share bed with his human. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
