Y_PLUS: Scooter

Scooter is believed to be a two-year-old purebred male, fawn-colored Lhasa Apso who was picked up at a local animal control as a stray. The AC is quite familiar with Scooter since his previous family allowed him to run the neighborhood loose more than once. Scooter is very outgoing with people and other dogs and absolutely loves everyone he meets. When his foster family returns home, he sits politely waiting his turn to be greeted. He wants to be with his humans and is loaded with personality, an always-smiling face and a constantly wagging tail. While he has lots of energy to play, he has a calm side and would be happy to keep you company curled on the couch. Scooter gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys wrestling with them or happily chewing on a bone by himself. He is housebroken and crate trained but quite trustworthy if left alone loose in the house . We are uncertain if he lived with young children in his previous home, so we would rather place him in an adult home or a home with older children. He is roughly fifteen pounds and has a typical lhasa 's long body, is neutered, chipped, up to date on all routine vaccinations/testing and is currently being fostered in the southwestern suburbs of Chicago .
