Y_PLUS: Dooley

IDR took in quite a few little dogs to help out another rescue that was just being flooded by dogs. They had to keep them outside and just didn’t have many adopters where they are. We knew if we took them in we could find some wonderful homes. Dooley is an absolutely adorable little Toy Poodle mix. Now that he is in a foster home he has been provided with much needed TLC and a lap to sit on, and boy does he really really love to be on your lap, he cuddles with you for as much petting and loving as you can give him. He came in to our rescue extremely matted and had to be shaved down, and now his coat is a soft and silky poodle cut. He is 7 pounds and about 6 or 7 years old. He does not need to be crated at all, but will crate nicely if needed, also respects a baby gate. For the time he has been in his foster home he appears to be housebroken. Dooley goes out side with all his foster friends, does his business and right back inside. Dooley will fit into any family situation, however, I would perfer him with children over 10 yrs old due to his small size. He does have an issue with dogs bigger them him but gets along well with the smaller size foster dogs, he'll chase a cat or bark because he wants to play.
