Wyatt

Wyatt is a new arrival to Nebraska IG Rescue, except that we didn't have any local foster homes so he is being fostered in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Wyatt is a young puppy turned in becuase his previous owners couldn't give him the time he needed. This little puppy is only 8 months old and loves to play with the other dogs. Wyatt is shy at first but has settled in nicely to his foster home. Once he decides that you are ok, he's a huge cuddler. He's a leaner and like to press up against you and burry his head into you as he's being petted. He is current on all vaccinations and is was neutered Dec. 14th. He is good about being crated and is working on his potty skills. We have experienced some accidents but I believe the extreme temperatures of ND are a contributing factor for not wanting to potty outside (I don't blame him.) Even with the weather being a factor, he is showing improvement. He's not food aggressive or a barker. Wyatt gets along with cats, other dogs of all sizes, and children and is very playful. He will also be starting basic obedience training in a couple of weeks. Wyatt is being fostered in North Dakota, and applications from ND, SD, MN, Winnipeg and surrounding areas will be considered. UPDATE:
We are working on the bell training for pottying outside. He knows to ring the bell but hasn't caught on that it's for pottying outside. He will use the potty pads. Somehow, he's managed his way in our bed. He actually bed hops. He'll start out the night with my son and end up in mine. He is a little on the shy side but is working on this. Watching him...I'm thinking his confidence maybe a little low. He's seems to be fearful going through doorways (in/outside.). He's very 'sensitive.'
