Does your checklist for that new canine family member include playful, smart, loving, and eager to please?  Well, you are in for a treat when you meet Wyatt!  Wyatt is a sweet pup who plays tug of war and chase with  the same enthusiasm he displays when he snuggles beside you.  Wyatt, meaning strong warrior, was named after we learned that he survived distemper as a young puppy.  What a fighter he is! Wyatt is currently fostered in a home with dogs and cats, and he gets along with both.  In fact, Wyatt will likely do best in a home where there is another dog he can play with. This sweet boy is definitely still a puppy, and he is learning which objects are toys and which are not (shoes).  He needs reminders that he will get fed regularly, so he doesn’t have to counter surf for anything.  Fortunately, his strong desire to please seems to be helping him learn these rules quickly.
