My Story

***Wrigley is now in a permanent home and getting the very best of care and love! Wrigley looks like a collie on short legs with floppy ears. He was dumped at the shelter by his owner who claimed he "was too old." It doesn't appear that Wrigley has been shown any kindness or care during his life. He's very, very sad (just look at that face) but warms up very quickly to a kind word and a pat on the head. We're hoping someone will be kind enough to take Wrigley into their home and give him some love and happiness for what is left of his life. SC Sheltie Rescue is willing to re-home Wrigley on what is known as a "permanent foster" agreement. This means that the rescue will continue to be responsible for Wrigley's vet care and any medications he needs. Wrigley would make the perfect companion for a retired couple or single person or for any quiet home. He's got arthritis and needs a home where he can get in and out of the house with few or no stairs. January 2010
