My Story

**WOOTEN ADOPTED 7/25/09!!!** Meet Fleck, Wooten and Bela. These three adorable little pups are little Catahoula mixes and are approximately 14 weeks old – two males and one female. They were dumped in the mountains out of Horseshoe Bend. A couple fishermen watched a blue car drive up and park not too far from where they were fishing, dump a bag of puppy food on the ground, dump these three beautiful little puppies out and drive off. Talk about a loving home. The funny thing is that these three little sweeties are very social and love people and you would think they had a decent home in the beginning of their little lives. They are so playful and just love life right now in their temporary foster home. The foster parents absolutely adore them. We want these little guys to go to wonderful homes – the homes they deserve after being so callously dumped. Fleck is one of the two males. He has little flecks of black all over his face. He is very smart and more independent than the others. From the looks of his paws compared to his siblings, he may be the largest of the three. He answers to his name and loves to wrestle with all the bigger dogs. Wooten is the other male. He has the big black patch over his right eye. Named after the great bass player Victor Wooten, this little guy loves to talk. He is more expressive than the other two and always seems to do things a little differently than his siblings. Wooten and Bela are very close and are side by side most of the time. They love to play together in the pool. Bela is the female of the group. She is such a sweetheart. She has no problem standing up to the boys when she needs to but is also the first one to mellow out and cuddle with you. She is very curious about everything. She was the first of the three to test the waters of the puppy pool and now jumps in anytime she can. If you think you would be interested in adopting one of these precious little pups, please contact Kelley at 208-869-4065 or email [email protected] for an application. An application is required for each puppy, and there will be a home visit and contract. They will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before going to a new home – this is all included in the $150 adoption fee.
