Woody (DOB 11/20/23) is a timid but trusting dog. He at first seems like he does not want anything to do with you. In fact, he sinks to the pavement and hopes not to be noticed. However, once you kneel and get down to his level, he just wants to stay near you, nearly crawls into your lap, and craves the human touch. He needs an adopter with a little patience and understanding. He is a loyal follower after you have won him over. It only takes a short period of time for you to feel that transition from “I’m not sure of you” to “Please give me endless attention.
Woody is a male golden retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. He is currently around 50 pounds.
He is not yet leash trained.
