Thank you!** Meet Wonder - an adorable Black Lab mix boy who was found as a stray in Mississippi. At the time of this updated posting on 4/7 he is almost 11 months old and 49 pounds. How has a boy this handsome been looking for his forever family for over FOUR months already? We are hoping these brand new pictures will win you over because oh my heart how handsome is this boy? Sweet Wonder had a rough start at a very young age! The lady that found him begged for help for a blind pup! He was brought into southern rescue we discovered that he could see but his eyes were severely infected and needed double, bilateral entropion surgery. Wonder recovered wonderfully from the surgery and is a very happy and healthy boy! He has no side effects and loves to play! He loves toys but they need to be tough made toys - nylabones are his favorite to lay and chew on! Wonder has done great around all animals - cats and dogs alike. And loves kids too. He is doing great with his crate and leash skills and seems fully housebroken too. He is a big, goofy boy that enjoys everyday to the fullest! And he will help you enjoy yours that way too! The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
