Winter*

Meet Winter, a gentle and intelligent 1 year old pup, weighing 50 lbs, whose journey began in Texas. Found as a tiny puppy abandoned in a box by the roadside, she was rescued and brought to New Jersey, where she was adopted in October. Unfortunately, Winter was recently returned to us when her family realized that the hustle and bustle of a busy household with young children was too much for this timid girl. She needs a quieter, calmer environment where she can truly thrive. Winter is very perceptive and quickly picks up on the energy around her. She enjoys the company of other dogs and may do well with a confident canine companion. We often use her as a dog tester as she is just so good with other pups. Winter isn't a fan of cats and considers them more of a game to chase. She's a kind-hearted dog with a gentle spirit who longs to be understood and loved for who she is. Winter will make a wonderful companion for anyone willing to invest the time to show her the world isn't so scary after all.
