Winston-PENDING

Hi there, I'm Winston. I'm only 1 year old & a TALL, DARK & HANDSOME BOY. I am a Black Labrador Retriever Mix ( & some people even say, I am so tall & lean that I'm built like a Great Dane but not quite as big). Who knows, all I know is that I'm GREAT just the way I am. I get along great with all of the other dogs & puppies & am a sweet & loving baby. I am about 75lbs & approximately 33-34 inches high(to the top of my head). I want to tell you a little bit about myself....Until a couple of months ago, I was homeless & living at a construction site until, finally, one day a nice guy who couldn't stand it any longer ( who became my dad for a while), rescued me & took me to his home. I lived there for 2 months, with him, his wife & their little black lab (female) mix whom I thought of as my sister. I was such a good boy, I got along great with my sister, we both slept in bed with our mom & dad, I don't have any aggressive behavior with anyone or anything, I am very easy going & passive, I do not seem to have any fears, I am totally housetrained & will not have any potty accidents, etc.. AND....although I am pretty much PERFECT, my sister was a little too agressive with me AND other dogs, & my parents are getting ready to move to a small apartment, so it wouldn't be fair to keep me in that position. So my parents checked around until they found a happy, healthy place to surrender me & that's here @ Heaven's Lil Angels Animal Sanctuary. Now I'm up for adoption. I'm making lots of new friends & waiting on you to give me the chance I deserve. I love to run & play, take walks, go for runs, snuggle, lounge on the couch, wrestle, sleep in bed with you & even on top of you, etc. I have very long lean legs & a perfectly built lean & muscular body. I will need lots of exercise & a large fenced in yard to keep me safe when I go outside to play. I love lots of attention & do not want to be left home alone all day. (Would you?) I am such a happy boy & love everyone, & I love to travel & want to share your bed, so you better SCOOT OVER & make room for me. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested-NEGATIVE, currently on a heartworm preventative & flea/tick preventative, had clicker training, wormed, housetrained, etc. Adoption requires a home visit if possible, vet reference, signed adoption contract & a $150.00 adoption fee. I come with lots of love & kisses, a Puppy House Warming Basket filled with toys, snacks, bowls, leash, collar & blankie & they will have me freshly bathed/groomed again on the day of the adoption.
