Winston is a neutered male corgi mix, and he’s had quite a journey in his first year of life, moving between several homes that didn’t quite understand the unique traits of his breed. Now, Winston is looking for a forever home where he can truly belong. Winston is cautious around new people, but with a little time and patience, he becomes a loving and loyal companion. He would do best in a home with older children who understand dog manners and can interact with him appropriately. Winston’s corgi instincts shine through, especially when strangers enter the home. He has a tendency to want to herd repair folks, so it’s best to crate him when there are strangers working in the house. This sweet boy is dog and cat friendly, leash and crate trained, and house trained. One of Winston’s favorite activities is traveling in the car, so if you love road trips, he’s the perfect co-pilot.
