Winston

3 year old Winston is a mostly simple guy who enjoys the simple things in life. He is very respectful and gets along great with the 4 other Weims in his foster home (3 females and 1 male). He loves his humans with all his heart. His favorite things in life (besides hanging out with his family) are to eat, to train (he enjoys the mental stimulation and engagement of training sessions), to hang outside in the yard (his foster home has a dog door but this is not a requirement for his future home) and likes to play ball but he has his own version of the game. He mostly holds and mouths the ball but will sometimes drop it on his terms for mom to throw. He has a signature move of stepping between his humans legs and look up at you adoringly when he wants attention. He is crate trained, trained on a nose lead and knows basic commands. His recall is decent but not completely solid. He does have some reactivity to different people coming into his space so it's best to introduce him to new people slowly on leash, on nose lead, with treats to reward for positive interactions. He is fostered in Johnston, IA and his adoption fee is $250.
