Winston

Winston is a 7 year old, 35 lb, Carin Terrier mix, he is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Winston will do best with an experienced dog owner, as he has some fear and anxiety due to an abusive past. He prefers women over men, but warms up once he knows he is safe and will not be harmed. Winston is fearful of new dogs, but can get along with them after careful introductions and once he realizes they mean him no harm. Winston needs a quieter home, preferably with a fenced in yard where he feels safe. He has done well with young children in his extended family, but has had limited interactions with kids. We are unsure how he is with cats as they have never crossed paths. Winston likes to spend his free time napping, cuddling with his people or chewing on bones. He loves wearing sweaters when it's chilly and cuddling on soft blankets. He doesn't really play and is looking for a nice relaxing place to live out his golden years.
