Winston

Winston is a 1.5 year old, 68lb, Male, Labrador Retriever Mix. Winston is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Winston, and I am a water-loving pup! Some dogs don't like to get wet, but I do well in the rain and I'm sure I would love to visit the beach with you! I'm a sweet and very happy, affectionate pup (though I can be a bit shy in new situations). My foster mom says I am very easygoing and smart too. I just love to go for walks and burn off some of that youthful energy, but I am a strong boy so I need someone who can handle walking me and doing some training so that I can learn better walking skills. I have a medium energy level so I won't drive you crazy, but I do need my walks and some type of activity or training to keep me occupied and engaged. And I do still love chew toys, my foster mom says better chew toys than the throw pillows, right?! I live with other dogs at my foster home, but I can be selective with my friends, so I would probably do best with a female dog friend. But I don't think I would like a cat friend, cats are weirdos and I don't like them. Oh, and I have learned to use a doggy door and I enjoy using it to go potty. I am used to the backyard so I think I would really like a home with a fenced in yard so I could just relax and squirrel watch sometimes. I really am a tall sweet guy who is looking for his very own special person, or maybe a family, I don't have a preference. I just want someone who will pick me to be their new best friend, and we can form our own little family. Hopefully, that's you! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes.
