Winston is looking for a new home due to a chance in his owner's living circumstances. HERE IS A NOTE FROM WINSTON'S FOSTER: Winston, the Great Pyrennes/Newfoundland mix, is a true gentle giant. He is great with kids of all ages, other dogs and he even likes cats! He is 7 years old, although the vet said he would guess him to be about 5 if he didn't know. He knows "sit", "down", "come" and his favorite, "shake". He walks politely on leash, but sometimes needs a gentle reminder to go the direction you tell him when he gets meandering. This is not a dog who would do well off leash without a fence. He's a very happy, friendly boy who loves to be snuggled. This is one mellow dude who is equally happy to hang out in the house or to go for a leisurely walk. He also likes car rides. Chasing squirrels is a favorite game. Applicants should have familiarity with this type of dog(Newfoundlands, Great Pyrennes, St. Bernard, etc) and their exercise, drooling, handling and temperature needs.
