Please note: This is a courtesy post on behalf of Winnie's owners, who have come to the conclusion that Winnie should be rehomed.
Winnie is NOT with our rescue, nor has she ever been part of our rescue.
If you are interested to find out more about her, please message us directly, and we will connect you with her family. She is located in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Her family wrote wonderful things about her:
Winnie is a spunky, personality-packed Jindo/Miniature Pinscher mix, (her family ran a DNA test on her), looking for her next chapter. Winnie is currently living with two other dogs that she does not get along with, and it's causing her a lot of stress. Her current owners have made the difficult realization that Winnie would live a much happier life in a home without other dogs or pets where she can get all the snuggles and attention to herself.
Winnie is 3.5 years old and around 30 pounds. She is a bit shy and skeptical at first which is common for her breeds, but once she warms up, her one-of-a-kind personality truly shines. She is extremely polite, playful, and really loves her person. Winnie is well-trained on leash and loves to go for long walks, hikes, and explore the city. She LOVES to play fetch and would go for hours if it were up to her. Winnie is up to date on all her vaccines and is spayed, potty trained, and crate trained.”
Please know that Winnie’s family have invested extensively in training with a trainer we very much trust with our own jindos. This beauty is using so much to tolerate an environment that is too much for her and she is running on fumes. It’s not easy for ANY sentient being to constantly be triggered and riled up. We all know our lovely asian breeds. They do so love to be emotionally regulated, they love being able to walk away and they do love their peace. We feel for both Winnie and her family. Her family have shown how much they’ve wanted this to work but they believe Winnie will find her happy as the only dog in home.
Her family has provided extensive behavioral info on her. She is truly lovely.
