Ms Winnie's story is a testament to how providing a good home for every pet comes with some responsibility. Despite her neglect, she stayed strong and fought through a myriad of health issues in the past month. Poor diet, lack of activity, and living in filth affect pets just as much as it affects humans. Ms. Winnie's health deteriorated due to this, but she never gave up. She had a yeast infection, and missing fur, and was unsteady walking and getting up all caused by neglect plus a lump in her throat. Despite all this, she is getting stronger, her skin condition is improving and thankfully the lump was of no consequence. It's amazing to see how resilient she is.
