Meet Winnie! Winnie is about 5 years old and is a total survivor! She was brought in with multiple wounds, head trauma, and gashes. She was emaciated and looked like she had been attacked by an animal and/hit by a car. She was very fragile and full of intestinal parasites. Now Winnie is gaining weight, is parasite free, and just a snuggle bug! She loves human companionship and tries her best to be a lap dog. Winnie has some muscle atrophy on the left side of her head due to her injuries but this does not affect her eating or chewing in any way. It is just a battle scar that shows how resilient she is. Winnie is great with puppies since it looks like she has been a momma before. She is good with other dogs who won’t bother her or get all riled up with her. She doesn’t mind puppies doing it though. She is GREAT with kids and would be an amazing family dog. Winnie is fully vaccinated and heart worm negative and her spay appointment will be scheduled once her adoption is finalized.
