The Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM) is a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Each year HSSM houses approximately 7,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets. Please consider visiting our shelter to adopt your next best friend. If you have a question about one of our adoptable animals, please give us a call at (228) 863-3354, email [email protected] or stop by from 10am-5pm Tuesday-Friday or 10am-4pm Saturday. Walk-ins stop 30 minutes before close. The entrance is located at 2615 25th Ave in Gulfport. Come to our back parking lot through our adoptions entrance.
