Winn Dixie is the cutest little snaggle-toothed old lady around! She came into the shelter as a stray so we don't know a lot about her history but she was quickly stealing hearts at the shelter. Staff and volunteers say that she is so sweet and friendly, happy to snack on soft treats, is a calm walking companion, and even works to keep her kennel clean. This sweet girl just landed herself a foster home and we can't wait to hear updates on how she does in a home as she awaits her forever family to spoil her for her golden years! Thanks to a generous donor, 1/2 of Winn Dixie's adoption fee has been sponsored meaning her adoption fee is only $25, which includes her dog license and all of her vetting to get her fixed and up to date on vaccines! Winn Dixie is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
