Thank you!** Meet Winkler, a sweet and gentle 7-month-old, 35 pound pup (as of 7/24/24) with a heart full of love. Winkler's cautious nature in new situations shows his thoughtful side, but he never lets it stop him from embracing new experiences and making friends. Winkler is a true companion dog. He loves being around people and is incredibly affectionate, always ready to snuggle up for some love and attention. He enjoys a good play session, whether it's wrestling with his furry pals or running around with boundless energy. He’s already learned the "sit" command and is making great progress with leash walking and recall. Winkler sleeps through the night peacefully and is currently working on being quiet in his crate, showing his commitment to becoming the best companion he can be. At 7 months old, Winkler comes with the wonderful advantages of a maturing puppy. He’s past the nipping phase and has finished teething, making him gentle and easy to handle. Winkler and Fonzie had a rough start to live but have been thriving in their foster care and are ready to find their forever family! It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
