Wink

WINK This adorable girl has grabbed all our hearts. She was picked up running stray and nobody has reported her missing. She appears to have an old head injury that affected both her eye and ear. We don't know if she was hit by a car? hit by a person? or? Her ear just has a lot of cartilage damage, but her hearing is unaffected by it. Her eye has gone cloudy, but our vets say there is nothing that needs to be done for her. She may be able to see shadows out of it but is not visual in that eye. Wink is only about 1 ½ years old and is ready to have a home that will never let anything happen to her again. She is great with the other dogs and does like to play. She is good with the cats. She loves to snuggle next to you on the couch and watch TV with you out of her good eye. *WARNING: If you are looking for a dober-gal that has a Mean-lean, Wink is your Gal, she can almost knock you over when she leans. Wink rides great in the car and is crate trained. We are finding that Wink is in need of a playmate (dog) close to her age, or a new owner willing to exercise/play or send her to daily doggie daycare so she can burn off all that puppy energy, also a fully fenced in backyard would be a plus. Her foster Aunt is working on the 'Sit' command, which Wink knew before she arrived, but the 'staying' in the sit is a bit hard for this wiggly butt gal, she is soooo excited because she knows something fun or yummy is going to follow that Sit command.
