Winnie, full name Winifred, was found late one night by our own volunteers. After bringing her to their house, Winnie was scanned for a microchip by two local vets, both finding information on her chip. Her previous owners were contacted but did not want to reclaim ownership. They informed us she is approximately 7 years old.
Winnie spent over a week living at our volunteer’s house where she showed how gentle and loving she is before being taken to our rescue. Winnie is highly affectionate towards people and dogs of all sizes. While she is a senior, she still enjoys her walks and remembers her tricks including sit, down, and paw. Don’t let her size fool you, she loves to sit on your lap and give you kisses. Please call us at (661)824-4495 to give Winnie the home she deserves where she will be loved till the end.
