Wilma is a very sweet hound mix. She is between two and three years old. She is underweight at 39 pounds and her foster mom is working on fattening her up. Wilma is good with other dogs and cats. We don’t know how she is with kids, but she should be fine with them based on her gentle demeanor. Wilma is friendly, loves getting pets, and hanging out with her foster family.
This awesome girl was a stray, and no one came to claim her. Wilma is house and crate trained. She enjoys exploring the yard, going on walks and is very food motivated. Wilma deserves a forever family that will give her all the love she deserves!
If you are interested in adopting Wilma please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.
***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
