My Story

A RRN Volunteer was walking dogs at the City Pound March 11, 2023 and found Wilma in the stray hold building shaking in the back of her kennel run. We believe Wilma was born on the street and never had a family. Wilma is reluctant to human interaction, but when she lets you get love, she is very sweet. Wilma is not a “cuddly” dog but we feel that with more attention and 1-1 she could really thrive. Wilma does not thrive by herself, and is a follower. With that being said, she would do wonderful in a home where she could match your dogs energy. Will be treated for heartworms prior to adoption. Pounds: 40s range Cat Tested: Unknown Dog Tested: Yes. Can work if properly introduced. Child Tested: Unknown HW Status: Positive Breed: Pit Mix Sex: Female
