Willow came to us as an owner surrender when her owner passed away. The owner's family members temporarily cared for her but had many other dogs, and it became too much. She is very cautious of new people initially and shies away from them, so we don't believe children would be a good fit for her. She is friendly and a cuddle bug once she warms up! Due to her shy personality, she may prefer a home with another dog while she learns to adapt and trust her new people. She has lived with other dogs that were smaller than her, and she's made friends in rescue who are larger than she is! She likes to run the playgroup and would do best with dogs that are more submissive and go with the flow. It is in her nature to herd them during play once in awhile!
