WILLOW PLEASE READ PROFILE BEFORE APPLYING Willow is a beautiful girl with the sweetest personality. She loves being with her people and is incredibly smart. She does, however, have a resource-guarding issue with her food and anything she believes to belong to her. We are requiring training sessions with our professional trainer to help her overcome her resource-guarding, but we need someone willing to work on it with her. Willow does very well with other dogs outside of the home. Inside the home, she will need slow introductions and strong leadership. She will do best in a structured environment where she knows he is not the boss. She is very sweet and curious. She walks very well on a leash though she may need some reminders. Willow does not do well with farm animals such as goats and pigs. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
