Willie is a 4 year old Shih Tzu. He is beautiful and approximately 11 pounds. Our little guy is so sweet and loves to be held, snuggled and to play with other dogs. For the most part he is quiet and calm. Willie came to us as a owner surrender thriugh no fault of his own. We immediately noticed a few issues in his mobikity and had him checked out with our neurologist. Willie had a genetic spine surgery that has changed his whole life for the better. He is happier and more lively.
Willie is working on his house breaking and goes outside to the bathroom but uses a pad too. He does use a belly band when unsupervised but his housebreaking is a work in progress His health may have led to not being fully trained before us. Willie currently takes medication which we hope he can come off of. He had a few minor seizures which most likely were from his medical issue which was surgically addressed.
Willie does not walk on a leash YET but he may enjoy walks. He lives his fenced yard at his foster home.
