Hello, I’m Willie! Do you believe in love at first sight, souls destined to meet, miracles? Well I do ~ it saved my life! I was stuck in an overcrowded kill shelter when my foster Mom saw me and was instantly enchanted with my smile and gracious ways. It was love at first sight for us both! Now she tells everyone that I’m the absolute BEST BOY she has EVER met! My perfect manners (indoors and out, thank you), high intelligence, easy going personality and devotion to pleasing my people have her singing my praises to all who'll listen. She even thinks I would make a good service dog because I’m so easy to train and love exercising my mind by learning new things ~ pretty high compliments coming from her, I assure you. I enjoy complete freedom and special privileges in our home because she says I’m so trustworthy; never any accidents or chewing since I know how to behave and am the consummate gentleman! I have a great time with all my friends at our indoor multi dog indoor foster home, playing nicely with all the dogs I meet. Some of the dogs can initially be a little intimidated by my size but my good nature and impeccable manners usually wins them over, it always pays to be a gentleman. If you like walks, hiking or running, then I’m your boy ~ I’m a top athlete outdoors and also play a mean game of fetch if someone initiates the exercise, it wouldn't be proper to be pushy about attention. I also enjoy hanging out to watch movies or entertain friends and I’m especially good with children. Long yard walks with my four year old human friend helps him practice his handling skills so I'm very cooperative and patient while he learns! Car rides are great too ~ I sit nicely to take in the scenery wherever we go. I’ll stick by your side through thick and thin ‘cause I’m the most loyal friend you’ll ever encounter! Typical of the original Dogo breeding, I have a stable, even temperament, am calm, intelligent, easy to train, affectionate, extremely gentle and very well behaved indoors knowing that’s the place to be kicked back. I’m known for being the perfect breed ambassador who’s super socialized, housebroken, crate trained, sits instantly for treats (without being asked, thank you) and I even shake hands (err, paws) in greeting to impress all my new friends! Willie is a 7 month old, 70 lb. pure bred male Dogo Argentino (Argentinian Mastiff) who is neutered, up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro chipped. His $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccine series, first month of Heartgard and Frontline preventatives, microchip and basic behavior training ~ he’s a ready made family pet who’s earned his own home!
