Willie

Gorgeous and goofy Willie is a 3 year old retriever who had lived with a woman for the first few years of his life who sadly had dementia. No one was allowed in her home, not even her children so we unfortunately do not know what he endured while there. His owner was relocated to a facility and her children who were unable to take Willie in reached out to us for help. Since then, we had Willie set up with a foster and trainer who said Willie is very sweet, lovable and very silly and absolutely loves to play with his ball!! Willie is said to get along with another dog or two that are mild mannered or older and calm but a meet and greet is required. We believe he would do best in an adult only home as we believe Willie may have been hit on the back and he does not like if you pull on him or sneaking up from behind him therefore that is why we are recommending no children. Otherwise this boy needs someone who would love to snuggle with him and play and take him in yard or on a nice walk and he will make a great companion.
