Is that a sad face, or what? But, he is anything but sad. He is a very happy boy who enjoys life to the fullest! Willard appears to be a purebred beagle, probably between 2-3 years old, weighing in at about 27#. He was a stray rescued by us when his time was up at Animal Control.

Willard is good with other dogs, cats, and loves to play with children. He is just a typical beagle who gets along with everyone and everything. His life is his nose, and he’s good at smelling everything. So, for Willard to have the quality of live he deserves, a fenced in yard is a must for him.

Willard has run of the house when left alone and he has not been destructive. He enjoys laying on the comfy couch! If he is crated when you leave, he will howl, so that may not be the best choice for him.

Willard is extremely playful. He has his own games and really tries to get his person involved.

He is house trained and crate trained. He knows SIT and OFF and COME and ROLLOVER when he's not distracted. He is just a very good little boy!

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
