Wilhelmina

This caramel-colored girl found herself lost in Kansas City and then managed to find a savior. And that was how this pretty girl, named Wilhelmina, came to be at KC Pet Project. Once she was at the shelter, we learned that she was a relatively easy walk but Wilhelmina was shy. It will take a bit of time to build your trust with her, but once you do, she will bestow upon you the most lovely of smiles. Wilhelmina also seems to respond to calm, low voices or 'baby talk' well. When Wilhelmina lets you in, that is when you will see the body wiggle begin, and the tail doesn't stop moving. When getting her professional photos done, she thoroughly enjoyed all the photo shoot toys, even if she didn't love the big camera-thing! Wilhelmina has participated in doggy playgroups and is tolerant of other dogs, she had mild play and no aggression. Wilhelmina is potty trained. Per her foster family she would likely be ok with a cat with proper introductions. Although she is interested in squirrels and cats when out on a walk, she is easily redirected.
