My Story

Wilbur is a very sweet boy who lived on one home his whole young life before landing at the shelter. In fact, he was born to another dog in that home- a reminder to always spay and neuter your pets to keep dogs out of the shelter system!! In his prior home Wilbur reportedly did well with kids, small and large dogs, and even cats. He was described by his people as playful and affectionate. During a short stay in a foster home Wilbur was housebroken and seemed to be crate trained. He loves his trusted people and his foster said that he craves human attention and just wants to be by your side! Heres what Wilburs friends at the shelter have said: I walked Wilbur and he was great. He was eager to get outside to potty. After our walk we returned to the kennel and I left him with a treat and a booty rub. He is a sweet boy who needs some confidence building. Wilbur is a slightly shy guy who is working on his confidence. Throughout our time together, he became more comfortable. Wilbur seems like a very sweet guy who wants to feel comfortable but isn`t always sure how. Wilbur is a sensitive guy but he`s really sweet. He is getting more comfortable and accepts pets. Wilbur is a very sweet young boy who was easy to leash and non-reactive to passing people or dogs. He needs a bit of time to warm up, but given a chance, he shows that he loves affection and treats, which he takes gently. Overall a very good boy who just needs some time to get to know you. Wilbur shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and appropriate when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Hed like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit and is looking for a home with a secure yard to keep him safe and sound. If you can help this boy keep building confidence, ask to meet him today!!
