This handsome fella Whiskey is 1 year old and a mixed breed dog who is looking for his forever family. He weighs about 40 lbs. and is as sweet as can be. Whiskey likes to be with his people and would love a family who will let him snuggle with them. He will chase any ball you throw in the yard and loves to play tug of war with the rope. He is house-trained and does really well with all the dogs in his foster home. If you are looking for a best friend, look no further. Fill out an application to meet Whiskey.
Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.
If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
