Wendy is an 8 year old pit mix who was found abandoned in Peekskill, tied up & left to fend for herself. She was likely being used for breeding and was tossed aside when she developed a tumor around her tummy/mammary glands (thankfully benign and removed).
While Wendy’s past is very sad, it has not jaded this friendly girl. Wendy loves people of all sizes and ages & seeks their love in return! Wendy walks well on a leash, is super housebroken, and has excellent manners. She can play fetch for hours or be a couch potato. This girl follows your lead. She loooves being wrapped up in blankies. She would be best as your only pet or with a mellow male dog to share her home with.
After everything she’s been through, Wendy deserves a wonderful future full of soft beds, blankies, walks, and love. She is the absolute perfect family dog. Please don’t let this sweet girl wait here in vain! Come meet her today!
