You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Webb came to us from the city pound on 6/10/2024. His legal hold time was up and no one had claimed him. He's about a year old and could be a mix of lab, pit bull, and other breeds. He is a nice boy who warms up quickly to new people and loves attention. He has been vet checked, microchipped, and his fee is $150. He will be neutered on Aug. 7th. Webb is a larger dog but he is also gentle and loving. He seems to have had a little basic training but needs some work on leash walking. He loves to play fetch and will happily chase a Frisbee! He has done well with other dogs, even smaller ones. We don't know if he's ever been near cats. We think he'd be fine with kids. He's an all around good dude! NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your email if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
