Waylon is a lover. He is a 3-year-old Bloodhound who likes to be your shadow. Waylon likes to follow his people around the house and plop down somewhere nearby. While he loves to explore outside or go on an adventure, he is a lazy bones at heart and loves to relax.
Waylon is super food motivated and will work hard for treats EXCEPT on walks. His nose tracks a scent and he can be tough to get off a trail but once he gets the excitement out he does pretty well on a leash! He sleeps in a crate at night and stays in there without issue if there’s company that isn’t comfortable with a big dog. Waylon is housebroken and gets along well the dogs in his foster home.
With his big ears and jowls, he’s prone to dribble around the house - but his perfect face makes it easy to overlook! He truly wins the heart of everyone he meets and he will make the perfect companion to a lucky new owner. His ideal home would have a fenced-in yard for Waylon to run and play.
Waylon is available for adoption in both Texas and the Northeast.
