We received a call from a vets office because they had a 9 year old totally healthy Cockapoo named Watson, left off there by the "family"to be euthanized. Come to find out, the older woman who owned Watson is dying of cancer and her kids decided they would just take the dog and euthanize him. Hard to fathom the coldness of that, to both the dog and their mother.... and the poor woman was sobbing on the phone with us. She was SO grateful that we agreed to save Watson and take him into the rescue so we could find him a new home. Watson is very sweet and gets along with other dogs and cats. He is an easygoing dog and would make a wonderful companion.
