My Story

Watson, 2-3 years, male, lab/hound mix, 79 pounds

Watson is a big, happy, loveable guy who has been treated kindly his entire life, and it shows. He is optimistic and friendly, and wants nothing more than to get some attention and maybe to play with another dog for a while.

Physically, Watson is a perfectly marvelous, yet somewhat comical, creature -- he has a noble head with a beautiful profile, a somewhat barrel-like torso and a pretty tan-gold coat. His brown eyes are a warm amber color, and his eye contact is friendly and very appropriate. Watson also clearly has some hound in the mix -- he has a bit of a droop to his face at some angles, and he has the houndly love of affection, soft beds and the aforementioned snacks.

Watson was returned to us when his family suffered financial and personal reversals. They were very sad to see him go, and we can understand why. We have promised this sweet guy (and ourselves) that he will go to a home where he can give his heart freely and forever. This should be no hardship -- he's sweet, uncomplicated and eager to be special to someone.
