Watson

Watson walks on a leash beautifully, loves to play and fetches his ball (you'll pass out long before he'll quit!), knows some commands (sit, stay, no), loves belly rubs, is totally housebroken, and is not a barker. He's a very gentle dog with people and does well with kids.
Watson is a very loyal and dedicated dog and attaches quickly to people he likes. He was briefly in a home and these fine qualities proved too much for a household with two dogs. Watson needs a home where he will be the only dog (also NO cats!) so he can provide his new family with endless affection and joy. Watson is around 2-4 years old.
He needs to be in a one dog/no cat home and he'll be awesome! He's so smart and incredibly loyal and really a big lovey when no other animals are around.
Skittish about men until he gets to know them and even then is wary, maybe he was in a home where a woman was abused and that's why he's so protective of females.

The great things about him:
- totally house-trained - walks great on a leash (he'd be good for a runner - he's active and fun) - loves to play and has a great personality - great with kids - loves 'love' - smart - learns tricks fast - sits, stays - understands 'no', 'come on', 'outside', 'good boy' - loves riding in the car - sits like a true 'passenger' and doesn't fall out in his haste to get out the door - not a 'barker' - very loyal - is groomed and looks amazing.
Adoption Fees are as follows: $250.....if the dog needs to be spayed/neutered (required) you get a $50 refund when we receive proof of spay/neuter.
This pet is up-to-date on vaccinations and worming, and is Heartworm, Lymes, and Ehrlichia negative unless otherwise noted. This pet is micro-chipped.

Unless otherwise noted, the dogs available through LCR's small companion program have been rescued from area shelters.
Information on housetraining, compatibility, history, and temperament may not be known. We will post updated information as it becomes available.
Each dog is tested on arrival for Lymes, Heartworm, and Ehrlichia.
LCR provides all required vaccinations, de-worming, microchipping.
Dogs are started on flea protection and started on heartworm preventative provided they've tested negative, and groomed when desperately needed and resources allow.
