WATSON'S foster mom found a great home for him! He is now living the god life and is very happy!WATSON'S STORY: A few weeks ago his guardian angels encountered a dog in the road who was almost hit several times before and while they were trying to get to him. (they actually had to stop traffic and people were none too pleased with them.) They managed to get to the dog who was very bad off. He was starving, his ribs, spine, shoulders and hips were all protruding badly, his teeth and gums were awful from whatever he had been eating, his ears were torn to shreds and worst, someone used him as a target for pellet gun practice. He'd been shot 4-5 times! Anyway, they rushed him to the vet and he's been fixed up. He needed antibiotics, a major tooth cleaning, and they also got him all of his vaccinations and had him neutered. Watson is being crate trained and is doing very well. Watson is now up to almost 40 lbs and much healthier. Watson is being fostered by his guardian angels and they have 5 dog rescues of our own and 3 cat rescues and he has gotten along wonderfully with all. They vary in ages and size. They also have a 3 year old who has been taught how to treat animals and Watson loves getting attention from their son. The vets think he is about 7. He is probably a blue tick hound mix and weighs 35lbs now that he's put some weight on. We are all committed to finding Watson a good 'forever' home so he does not have to endure the horrors of his previous life.
