I am doing great in my foster home. I am potty trained and crate trained. I go in my crate when my mom is out of the house or when my foster family is not able to supervise me. I am working on my training and on my manners. I am doing much better on the leash but will pull when something interesting catches my eye. I sit and take treats nicely and wait patiently for my favorite part of the day – mealtime! I am excited to learn new things, it makes me happy to please my people. I love to play with my bigger foster siblings, they are tolerant of my rough play. I do need to be reminded to share toys occasionally. I do have a prey drive, so a home with no smaller dogs or other animals would be best for me. I love the kiddos in my foster home, but I can be mouthy and clumsy at times and don’t know my own size. I also like to be given space when I am resting. For these reasons a home with kids 10+ would be best for me. My foster mom says I am a total catch. I am the sweetest boy, and very smart! I am working hard on my manners and learning more every day. I will need continued socialization and training in order to be the best pup I can be. I would love a home with another larger tolerant dog who can understand my type of play, but I would do well with an active home without a dog too.
