Wanda
Breed
Labrador Retriever, American Staffordshire Terrier
Wanda is approximately 7 years old and is most likely a variation of a lab/pit mix. She was found as a local stray and was never claimed by her previous owners. It was quickly determined that Wanda had recently had puppies but they weren’t able to be located which leads us to believe she had a litter and was then dumped. Despite her past she’s an extremely loving and social girl. Wanda’s favorite thing in the world is playing fetch and she even brings it back and drops it for you! She’s done great with all the people she’s met and even young children. Wanda has shown signs of not being good with small dogs and cats so any small animals are a no go with her high prey drive. She currently is being fostered with a male pit and has had no issues with him but she just ignores him and he ignores her. Ideally she would be the only animal in her next home or in a home with another calm dog that she could coexist with. Wanda is house trained and is doing very well with crate training. She’s been left to free roam in the house on multiple occasions for an hour or so and hasn’t been destructive at all but just paces a lot so crating her in the beginning would be ideal but I don’t think she would have any issue being left uncrated once she’s comfortable in her new home. She’s spayed, microchipped, utd on vaccines and utd on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
