Walter Edward is just the absolute perfect gentleman - just LOOK at that distinguished face. Walter was found as a stray by his current foster in 2016. She found him a loving home, where he lived for years, until his owner recently became unable to care for him, at which time Stop The Suffering agreed to help him find his retirement home. He is approximately 9 years old, assumed lab/boxer mix. He is in great health, aside from some dental issues that are scheduled to be fixed! He loves stuffies, and his doggie friends. He does have some crate anxiety, but it turns out he doesn't even need a crate when he has other dog friends around! For the reason, we will be requiring that he be adopted to a home with at least one other dog. He loves having all 8 of his foster siblings, big and small! He is house trained, leash trained, and the absolute biggest love-bug. If you scratch the right spot on his belly, he will start to nibble excitedly. He'd love to be your new best friend! Adoption fee is $350.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
