Walter - Deaf Pup

MEET WALTER! This precious Pocket-Pit was on the euthanasia list at Romulus shelter but is now safe and sound, vetted, and ready for his forever home! Walter is special needs, but mostly just SPECIAL! Walter is deaf, but still incredibly smart and intuitive! His foster mom is working on sign language with Walt and he is picking it up quickly! Some facts about Walter: -He is 8mo old -Crate trained -Mostly house-trained: he will always choose to go outside if given the opportunity, but is still learning how to indicate when he needs to go out, so every once in awhile he still has an accident. He does NOT mark or lift his leg at all. -He is SMALL! Walter is 35lbs and very short! His pictures don't show just how little he is. He's a true "pocket-pit!" -LOVES other dogs. Walter would thrive in an environment with another mature dog to play with and guide him. He loves to play and gets along great with dogs of all sizes and types! -Gets along well with kitties, though he does try and get them to play! -His lack of hearing does not affect Walter's happiness. He is so happy and so, so sweet!
