Hey there, future family! My name is Walter, and I'm a super sweet little guy. They tell me I'm a black and tan German Shepherd/Lab mix, but I think I'm a 100% lovable pup! Oh, and I'm heartworm negative (whatever that means) and neutered, so I'm all set for my forever home! I had a bit of a rough start, being found as a stray in a culvert. Let me tell you, I was so excited when someone finally found me! Now, I'm safe and sound, and boy, am I loving life! I get along super well with other dogs. In fact, I was so good at making friends that I even shared a kennel with another dog at the shelter I came from. Cats? Meh, they're okay. There's a cat here, but I don't pay much attention to it. I'm more of a dog's dog, you know? But what I really, really love is people. I'm a total cuddle bug who will roll on my back for belly rubs anytime. I'm learning to walk on a leash, and my humans say I'm doing an excellent job! I'm becoming quite playful now that I'm feeling more comfortable, and it's so much fun showing everyone my goofy, loving personality.
